Parvana is the Persian word for butterfly.  There are an estimated 17,500 species of butterflies.  We are Gypsy Parvana, a dynamic and energetic Belly Dance Troupe.  We enjoy entertaining and educating the public in the art of Belly Dance.   We  perform a mixture of cabaret style and tribal fusion belly dance, with influences from ballet, modern, jazz, and character dance. Our canvas is as vast as the many species of butterflies.  From our signature Blue Morpho to the grand Monarch, and all of the species in between, each dancer brings her different life experiences to the dance.  So we ask you, what kind of butterfly are you?
